| Research indicates that N95 respirators provide higher protection than standard surgical masks. Please keep in mind, fitting the mask to your face is very crucial. If you can breathe around the mask, then the filter is not going to help at all. If you are having problems with creating a perfect seal, it is recommended to duct tape the area around the mask to create a prevent any leaking. Wearing masks does not guarantee immunity from the Avian flu. However, when properly fitted, the N95 respirator will protect you far more than being fully exposed. |
