First aid for knocked-out teeth

- Begin ESM and primary survey
- Apply direct pressure to stop the bleeding where the gap from the tooth is. The casualty should bite down on a thick pad.
- The casualty should keep their head forward so the blood can drain out of the mouth.
- The tooth should be placed in a cup of milk or saline solution or in a plastic wrap moist with casualty’s saliva.
- Keep giving care and get medical help.
